Grief Support & Coaching for Adults

Be empowered to tend to your grief and believe in yourself.

You know yourself better than anyone else. And in grief, we experience multiple changes, both at the physiological level to our relationship with the external world.

Grief changes our brains, so as you embark on significant shifts in your life, you need someone who can help you understand the person you now are and are becoming.

Individual coaching helps you recognize what is inside of you, waiting to surface, which is often unseen in life and complicated in grief.

A guide is necessary to help draw that out of you so that you know what you want to do, who you want to be, and how you want to get there.

How Does Individual Grief Support Work?

Individual grief support opens you up to holistic healing. I use the Bloom Model, which I created to help you understand which of the thirteen touchpoints in your life are most impacted by your loss. This model helps us know where to start from as you enter into a space of hope and healing.

That is why individual coaching is so powerful. Where you start in the model is different than where someone else starts, which provides for a highly individualized and powerful experience in your healing process.

What Can I Expect at My Appointments?

After your free consultation, you will begin grief coaching. We will meet together for 60-minutes, each appointment, to uncover your wants and needs to move through and with your grief, honor your loss, and lean into who you are becoming.

You will be supported with structure, feedback, and gentle motivational strategies to create the lasting change you want in your life after loss.

Each appointment supports you to open up to whatever you are experiencing in a space of non-judgment. Through this opening, you will discover and co-create strategies to add meaning and movement in your life, while honoring wherever you are at in the grief process in the comfortable space of your own home.

Grief coaching is iterative, so each appointment builds on the next to move from a place of understanding to a place of hope and awareness to make any changes in your life that help you heal with compassion and care.

Some people work on small goals and others work on behavior shifts or ways of being and thinking.

Sometimes these changes may be small, internal shifts in the way you see yourself and others. Other times, these shifts may be big changes in your life that suit your wants and needs. Sometimes it’s a blend of both and sometimes it is small changes to the interior decor in your home, for example.

Testimonials

“I worked with Eryn while grieving, and she helped me understand myself. Being unsure about coaching, I now see how helpful it is in grief.” - M.L.

“I worked with Eryn to help me make better progress in my grieving process over a loss of an important friendship. Eryn asks thought provoking questions that inspire me to think deeply about my wellbeing and how I am taking care of my needs.

Her observations are on point and often shed light on aspects of my situation that I am either not fully aware of or completely unaware of.

Eryn gives me plenty of space to tell my story, which allows me to process what I have experienced and am experiencing at the same time. She is very good at listening and giving observations and feedback that help guide me and introduce new and meaningful perspectives on my situation.

I feel comfortable and willing to explore unknown territory with her. I appreciate her compassion, attentive care, and wise questions. I highly recommend Eryn for anyone who is open to receiving guidance during their grief and loss journey." - L.H.
