Entering into a virtual grief support group space is sacred and powerful. It can also feel intimidating at first. I ensure you have what you need from the group to find a soft landing place for you to be you and show up however you are.

You get to tell your story and share what you want to share while acquiring skills, tools, and resources to create hope and meaning in your life.

I structure each support group with intentional, research-based materials, and I scaffold the curriculum in response to the needs of the group.

Some of the topics we cover include:

  • What is grief and what is loss

  • The power of being seen

  • Types of grievers

  • Loss complexity

  • The Bloom Model and more!

My group facilitation style is intentional and responsive, and I provide plenty of space for processing and sharing with one another. I ensure an environment of utmost respect and care, and I create a dynamic space for you to show up authentically with the level of vulnerability you are comfortable with sharing.

You are met with non-judgment and curiosity wherever you are at and whoever you are. You deserve a space that lets you bring your authenticity, challenges, and hope. Sometimes it may be more challenges than hope and other times it may be more hope than challenges. No matter where you are on your grief journey, you are welcome.

One of the most powerful experiences in our grief is being witnessed in our pain by others. This group space provides you the tools to feel comfortable being who you are and where you are at as you grieve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Grief Support Group For?

Groups are for individuals who prefer the interaction and ideation that a group space offers. These groups are especially meaningful at building connections between group participants and increasing positive outcomes for everyone in the group.

Any adult dealing with any loss, such as a child, parent, friend, partner, pet, home, job, or more, is welcome in these group spaces. Whether your loss was one month ago or many years ago, you are welcome and belong in this group.

How does group support work if we all have different types of losses?

I have found much success with this approach because it truly gives each person a voice about their particular loss and how they are grappling with it rather than feeling pressured to feel a certain way about their loss. If you are dealing with a singular loss or multiple losses, you are welcome here.

How do I sign up?

After you sign-up for the waiting list, you will receive an email from me to set up a 20-minute discovery call. I will then place you on the list for the next available group.

How long does the group meet?

Groups meet once a week for 8-weeks, and they cover topics such as what is grief and loss, the power of being seen, grieving types, and the Bloom Model.
